Cheeky Balloon Prank

A couple of weeks ago, my sister went on a long weekend trip to Melbourne with her boyfriend. I had been spiralling into the black hole that is YouTube, when I saw one of Joe Sugg’s videos. He pranks his roommate Caspar a lot (and I mean a lot!), and in this video I watched he decided he was going to fill Caspar’s room with balloons. You could practically see the lightbulb appear above my head. I enlisted my other sister, along with one of her friends (and later a compressor) and we set to filling nearly 600 balloons as a nice surprise for her to arrive home to.

The day they travelled home from Melbourne didn’t exactly go to plan, and as a result she wasn’t in the best mood when she got home! My co-conspiritors had made themselves scarce, so it was up to me to wear it if she was pissed off about it!

Luckily she was a good sport about it (even though it took her and her flatmates 3 days to pop them all, whoops!). I filmed it and cut a little video of the process together. Enter, my first YouTube video! I hope to make more in the future, because it was a fun challenge (editing is hard though!).
